Job Requirements of Clinical Solutions Team Supervisor:
Education and Experience:- Eight years of education and/or experience in business or medical office administration, or similar, including one year of experience in a supervisory, management, or leadership role.
Or an equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
- Professional or technical licensure or certification related to the area assigned.
- Experience using EPIC EMR.

Clinical Solutions Team Supervisor
About this Position
Lane County Health & Human Services (H&HS) is seeking a clinically experienced Epic Support Analyst Supervisor to provide operational and clinical leadership for Epic support services across medical, dental, and behavioral health programs. Preference will be given to candidates with experience navigating the OCHIN Epic collaborative environment. This role serves as the central coordinator for Epic support operations, workflow governance, and user acceptance testing (UAT), while also acting as a trusted clinical liaison between providers and technical teams.
The Epic Support Analyst Supervisor brings a strong understanding of clinical practice and care delivery, ensuring the electronic health record (EHR) accurately reflects real-world clinical workflows, supports high-quality patient care, and meets regulatory and billing requirements. This position plays a critical role in translating clinical needs into effective Epic design, configuration, and support.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Epic Support Operations
- Supervise Epic Support Analysts, setting standards for clinically informed, high-quality support.
- Oversee ticket intake, triage, prioritization, and resolution with focus on patient safety and provider efficiency.
- Identify trends and drive system-level workflow improvements.
Act as the bridge between providers, Epic analysts, IT, and OCHIN.
Observe and understand real clinical workflows and translate them into effective Epic solutions.
Ensure Epic supports accurate documentation, efficient care delivery, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain Epic workflows that reflect best practices across medical, dental, and behavioral health services.
Safeguard documentation integrity to support quality reporting, billing accuracy, and patient safety.
Partner with Quality and Compliance to address risk, audits, and documentation standards.
Direct User Acceptance Testing for Epic upgrades, releases, and optimizations.
Ensure changes are validated in real clinical settings before go-live.
Translate Epic and OCHIN updates into clear guidance for providers and staff.
Represent H&HS in OCHIN governance and clinical workgroups.
Identify workflow vulnerabilities, documentation gaps, and training needs.
Proactively mitigate risks affecting patient care, compliance, and billing.
Improve provider satisfaction by aligning Epic with real-world care delivery.

About the DivisionThe Quality & Compliance division provides support and oversight to the Department of H&HS in a number of key areas including data/analytics, electronic health record support, quality assurance/quality improvement and compliance/risk management. This work serves to ensure alignment with rules and regulations, identify new efficiencies, enable measurement of effectiveness and allow for data driven decision making.
