Fair Worker - Multiple Positions

Lane County Oregon, US (Onsite) Full-Time

LANE COUNTY FAIR - SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITIES

JOBS LISTED BELOW WILL REQUIRE HOURS JULY 21 - 27, 2026

(There will be required training days in late June or early July.)


About the Position

Ticket Sellers & Ticket Scanners
Greets patrons at the Lane County Fair admission gates! Must be friendly and able to work an Electronic Scanner or Point-of-Sale system (training will be provided).

Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate calmly and effectively with staff and customers.
  • Cash handling experience a plus.
  • Friendly, upbeat personalities!
Schedule: Hours and schedules may vary, both morning and afternoon shifts are available.


Front Office Support
Provides friendly and efficient assistance to visitors, vendors, and staff. Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions in person and on the phone calls, helping with Fair registrations, following up on lost-and-found inquiries, and coordinating with staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:
  • Cash handling experience
  • Prior Accounting experience a plus
  • Friendly, upbeat personalities!

Fair Facility and Operations Extra Help
Help us set up, maintain and keep the Fair sparkling while it is in full swing! These individuals will help with setting up equipment, picking up garbage, barn upkeep, janitorial work, landscaping, and more!

Requirements:

  • Hardworking, positive attitudes and willingness to help in all areas.
  • Work involves lifting, walking, standing, and/or bending for extended periods of time.
  • REQUIRED - Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • These roles may offer hours multiple weeks prior to the start of Fair.

Schedule: Hours and schedules may vary. Both day and night shifts are available.


Minimum Hourly Wage: $15.05

Individuals will be compensated at minimum wage or above based on the assigned duties, skills & experiences.


Schedules: Day, Evening, Night Shift Hours Available

*This is a non-represented position

*Extra Help employees may work up to a maximum of 520 hours per fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30 of following fiscal year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Friendly and positive, upbeat attitude
  • Professional while working independently and within a team
  • Good work ethic and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Attention to Detail
  • 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to work shifts early morning and/or late evening
  • Must be able to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time, dependent on job responsibilities
